- This stripping disc is made of a web of nylon fibers interconnected in a random non-woven way and embedded with black silicon carbide abrasive. This produces a 3-dimensional material that is pliable, slightly flexible yet resilient, and lasts for a long time, it runs cool and allows for adequate airflow, it's also waterproof so it can be used with water or a cleaning agent.
- Ideal for stripping paints and rust off of metal surfaces, blending, weld cleaning, heavy-duty cleaning, and surface preparation
- Easy, quick, and tool-free disc changes; thanks to the integrated 5/8-11" threaded arbor on each disc, it will thread on and off your angle grinder with ease. The best part is the normal rotation of the grinder will keep the disc tight!
- Each disc is fitted on a hardened thick plastic backing with a hollowed-out design that allows airflow for great heat dissipation and high shatter resistance while maintaining a cooler operation, unlike traditional Type 27 center depressed wheels, which are usually thin fiberglass and can shatter during operation.
